چکیده

The search for minimal set of adjustable parameters through optimising a kinetic model of biochemical networks is needed in industrial biotechnology to increase the productivity of industrial organism strains while keeping low the chance of causing unwanted side effects of implemented changes. As the search for minimal set of adjustable parameters is of combinatorial nature, the search space becomes very large even at relatively small number of parameters. The presented approach of search space reduction is demonstrated on the example of kinetic model of yeast glycolysis. In parallel to the estimation of remaining range of optimisation potential the full search of combinations was combined with forward selection that allows reaching 91.4% of potential after optimising 625 parameter combinations. This result was reached by involving just seven out of fifteen adjustable parameters.

A Deterministic Multiple Key Space Scheme for Wireless Sensor Networks via Combinatorial Designs

The establishing of a pairwise key between two nodes for encryption in a wireless sensor network is a challenging issue. To do this, we propose a new deterministic key pre-distribution scheme which has modified the multiple key space scheme (MKSS). In the MKSS, the authors define two random parameters to make better resilience than existing schemes. Instead of a random selection of these parame...

Determinition of best set of adjustable parameters with full search and limited search methods

In case of optimization of biochemical networks the best combination of adjustable parameters has to be found keeping low the costs of modification of biochemical network and reducing the risk of unpredicted side effects of processes outside the scope of the model. Dynamic models of biochemical networks usually are in form of system of differential equations and therefore can not be optimized a...

Enhancing Efficiency of Neural Network Model in Prediction of Firms Financial Crisis Using Input Space Dimension Reduction Techniques

The main focus in this study is on data pre-processing, reduction in number of inputs or input space size reduction the purpose of which is the justified generalization of data set in smaller dimensions without losing the most significant data. In case the input space is large, the most important input variables can be identified from which insignificant variables are eliminated, or a variable ...
